Al-Falaq

Qul aʿūdhu bi-rabbi l-falaq

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak."

Kaho: Main subah ke Rabb ki panaah maanta hoon.

کہو: میں صبح کے رب کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔

Min sharri mā khalaq

From the evil of that which He created.

Har us cheez ki buraayi se jo usne paida ki.

ہر اس چیز کی برائی سے جو اس نے پیدا کی۔

Wa-min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab

And from the evil of darkness when it settles.

Aur andheri raat ki buraayi se jab woh chha jaaye.

اور اندھیری رات کی برائی سے جب وہ چھا جائے۔

Wa-min sharri n-naffāthāti fī l-ʿuqad

And from the evil of the blowers in knots.

Aur gaanthon mein phoonkne waliyon ki buraayi se.

اور گانٹھوں میں پھونکنے والیوں کی برائی سے۔

Wa-min sharri ḥāsidin idhā ḥasad

And from the evil of an envier when he envies.

Aur hasad karne wale ki buraayi se jab woh hasad kare.

اور حسد کرنے والے کی برائی سے جب وہ حسد کرے۔
