Innamal a'maalu binniyyaat, wa innamaa likulli imri'in maa nawaa

Actions are judged by intentions, and every person will get what they intended.

Aamaal ka daaomdar niyyaton par hai, aur har insaan ko wahi milega jo usne niyyat ki.

اعمال کا دارومدار نیتوں پر ہے، اور ہر انسان کو وہی ملے گا جو اس نے نیت کی۔

Laa yu'minu ahadukum hattaa yuhibba li-akheehi maa yuhibbu linafsih

None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.

Tum mein se koi momin nahin jab tak apne bhai ke liye woh na chahe jo apne liye chahta hai.

تم میں سے کوئی مومن نہیں جب تک اپنے بھائی کے لیے وہ نہ چاہے جو اپنے لیے چاہتا ہے۔

Kalimataan khafeefataan 'alal-lisaan, thaqeelataan fil-meezaan, habeebataan ilar-Rahmaan: SubhaanAllahi wa bihamdih, SubhaanAllahil-'Azeem

Two words are light on the tongue, heavy on the scale, and beloved to the Most Merciful: "Glory be to Allah and His praise; Glory be to Allah the Magnificent."

Do kalme zubaan par halke, mizaan mein bhaari, aur Rehman ko pyaare hain: SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, SubhanAllahil Azeem.

دو کلمے زبان پر ہلکے، میزان میں بھاری، اور رحمٰن کو پیارے ہیں: سبحان اللہ وبحمدہ، سبحان اللہ العظیم۔

Al-Muslimu akhool-Muslim, laa yazlimuhu wa laa yuslimuhu

A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim; he does not wrong him, nor does he abandon him.

Musalman Musalman ka bhai hai; na usp zulm karta hai aur na use tanha chhod deta hai.

مسلمان مسلمان کا بھائی ہے؛ نہ اس پر ظلم کرتا ہے اور نہ اسے تنہا چھوڑتا ہے۔

Akmalu al-mu'mineena eemaanan ahsanuhum khuluqaa

The most complete of the believers in faith are those with the best character.

Imaan mein sab se mukammal momin woh hai jis ka akhlaq sab se acha ho.

ایمان میں سب سے مکمل مومن وہ ہے جس کا اخلاق سب سے اچھا ہو۔

Kullu mawloodin yooladu 'alal-fitrah

Every child is born upon the natural disposition (fitrah).

Har bachcha fitrat par paida hota hai.

ہر بچہ فطرت پر پیدا ہوتا ہے۔

Aayatul-munaafiq thalaath: idhaa haddatha kadhab, wa idhaa wa'ada akhlaf, wa idhaa u'tumina khaan

The signs of a hypocrite are three: when he speaks he lies, when he makes a promise he breaks it, and when he is trusted he betrays.

Munafiq ki nishaniyan teen hain: jab bole jhooth bole, jab waada kare tode, aur jab amanat di jaaye khiyanat kare.

منافق کی نشانیاں تین ہیں: جب بولے جھوٹ بولے، جب وعدہ کرے توڑے، اور جب امانت دی جائے خیانت کرے۔

Laysa ash-shadeeda bis-sur'ah, innamaash-shadeedulladhee yamliku nafsahu 'indal-ghadab

The strong man is not the one who wrestles others down. The strong man is the one who controls himself when angry.

Pehlwaan woh nahin jo doosron ko paatak de. Pehlwaan woh hai jo gusse mein apne aap ko qaaboo mein rakhe.

پہلوان وہ نہیں جو دوسروں کو پٹخ دے۔ پہلوان وہ ہے جو غصے میں اپنے آپ کو قابو میں رکھے۔

Alaa unabbi'ukum bi-akbaril-kabaa'ir? Al-ishraaku billaah, wa 'uqooqul-waalidayn, wa shahaadatuz-zoor

Shall I not tell you of the greatest of major sins? Associating partners with Allah, disobeying parents, and giving false testimony.

Kya main tumhe sab se bade gunaahon ke baare mein na bataaon? Allah ke saath shirk, maa baap ki nafarmaani, aur jhoothi gawahi.

کیا میں تمہیں سب سے بڑے گناہوں کے بارے میں نہ بتاؤں؟ اللہ کے ساتھ شرک، ماں باپ کی نافرمانی، اور جھوٹی گواہی۔

Yaqoolullaahu ta'aalaa: Ana 'inda zanni 'abdee bee, wa ana ma'ahu idhaa dhakaranee

Allah says: I am as My servant thinks of Me, and I am with him when he remembers Me.

Allah ta'ala farmata hai: Main apne bande ke gumaan ke mutabiq hoon, aur main uske saath hoon jab woh mujhe yaad karta hai.

اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: میں اپنے بندے کے گمان کے مطابق ہوں، اور میں اس کے ساتھ ہوں جب وہ مجھے یاد کرتا ہے۔
