لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَوَكَّلُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ لَرُزِقْتُمْ كَمَا يُرْزَقُ الطَّيْرُ تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا
Law annakum kuntum tawakkalloona 'alallaahi haqqa tawakkulihi laruziqqtum kamaa yurzaqut-tayru taghdoo khimaasan wa taroohu bitaanaa
If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He deserves, you would be provided for as the birds are provided for — they go out hungry in the morning and return full in the evening.
Agar tum Allah par aise tawakkul karo jaise karna chahiye, toh tumhe waise rizq milega jaise parindoon ko milta hai — woh subah bhooke jaate hain aur shaam ko bhare pet laute hain.
اللہ کے نزدیک سب سے پسندیدہ عمل وہ ہے جو ہمیشہ کیا جائے، چاہے تھوڑا ہی ہو۔
أَكْمَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِيمَانًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا
Akmalul-mu'mineena eemanaan ahsanuhum khuluqaa
The most complete of the believers in faith are those with the best character.
Imaan mein sab se mukammal momin woh hai jis ka akhlaq sab se acha ho.
جو اپنے بھائی کی ضرورت پوری کرنے میں لگا رہے، اللہ اس کی ضرورت پوری کرتا رہتا ہے۔
مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ
Man kaana yu'minu billaahi wal-yawmil-aakhiri falyaqul khayran aw liyasmut
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him say something good or remain silent.
Jo Allah aur aakhri din par imaan rakhta ho, woh ya acha bole ya chup rahe.
جو شخص کسی مسلمان کی پردہ پوشی کرے، اللہ قیامت کے دن اس کی پردہ پوشی کرے گا۔
لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ، وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ
Laysal-ghinaa 'an kathratil-'arad, wa laakinnal-ghinaa ghinan-nafs
Richness is not having many possessions, but richness is contentment of the soul.
Amiri zyada maal o daulat ka naam nahin, balke amiri nafs ki qanaa'at ka naam hai.
اللہ کے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: یہ حدیث ہمیں نیکی کی تعلیم دیتی ہے۔
كُنْ فِي الدُّنْيَا كَأَنَّكَ غَرِيبٌ أَوْ عَابِرُ سَبِيلٍ
Kun fid-dunyaa ka-annaka ghareebun aw 'aabiru sabeel
Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveller passing through.
Duniya mein aise raho jaise koi musaafir ya raahi ho.
بہترین صدقہ وہ ہے جو مالدار ہوتے ہوئے دیا جائے۔
رَغِمَ أَنْفُهُ، ثُمَّ رَغِمَ أَنْفُهُ، ثُمَّ رَغِمَ أَنْفُهُ. قِيلَ: مَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ: مَنْ أَدْرَكَ وَالِدَيْهِ عِنْدَ الْكِبَرِ أَحَدَهُمَا أَوْ كِلَيْهِمَا ثُمَّ لَمْ يَدْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ
Raghima anfuhu, thumma raghima anfuhu, thumma raghima anfuh. Qeela: Man yaa Rasoolallaah? Qaala: Man adraka waalidayhi 'indal-kibari ahadahumaa aw kilaahumaa thumma lam yadkhulil-jannah
May he be disgraced! May he be disgraced! May he be disgraced! It was said: Who, O Messenger of Allah? He said: Whoever reaches his parents in old age — one or both of them — and then does not enter Paradise.
Woh ruswaa ho! Woh ruswaa ho! Woh ruswaa ho! Kaha gaya: Kaun, ya Rasoolallah? Farmaya: Jo apne walidain ko budhape mein paaye — ek ya dono ko — aur phir Jannat mein na jaaye.
جو شخص کسی مسلمان کو تکلیف دے، اس نے مجھے تکلیف دی۔
أَكْثِرُوا ذِكْرَ الْمَوْتِ فَإِنَّهُ يُمَحِّصُ الذُّنُوبَ وَيُزَهِّدُ فِي الدُّنْيَا
Akthiroo dhikral-mawti fa innahu yumahhhisudh-dhunooba wa yuzahhidu fid-dunyaa
Remember death frequently, for it purifies sins and creates disinterest in the world.
Maut ko zyada yaad karo, kyunke yeh gunaahon ko saaf karta hai aur duniya se be-raghbati paida karta hai.
جو شخص اللہ کی راہ میں ایک قدم چلے، اللہ اس کے لیے دس نیکیاں لکھتا ہے۔
خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
Khayrukum man ta'allamal-Qur'aana wa 'allamah
The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.
Tum mein se behtar woh hai jo Quran seekhe aur sikhaye.
جو شخص کسی مسلمان کی عزت کی حفاظت کرے، اللہ قیامت کے دن اس کے چہرے کو آگ سے بچائے گا۔
إِنَّ عِظَمَ الْجَزَاءِ مَعَ عِظَمِ الْبَلاَءِ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ قَوْمًا ابْتَلاَهُمْ
Inna 'izamal-jazaa'i ma'a 'izamil-balaa', wa innallaaha idhaa ahabba qawman ibtalaaahum
The greater the trial, the greater the reward. When Allah loves a people, He tests them.
Jitni badi aazmaish, utna bada sawaab. Jab Allah kisi qaum se mohabbat karta hai toh unhe aazmaata hai.
جو شخص کسی مسلمان کو کھانا کھلائے، اللہ اسے جنت کے پھلوں سے کھلائے گا۔
لَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لأَحَدٍ لأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا
Law kuntu aamiranaahadaan an yasjuda li-ahadin la-amartu al-mar'ata an tasjuda lizawjihaa
If I were to command anyone to prostrate to anyone, I would have commanded the wife to prostrate to her husband.
Agar main kisi ko kisi ke aage sajda karne ka hukm deta, toh biwi ko hukm deta ke woh apne shauhar ke aage sajda kare.
جو شخص کسی مسلمان کو پانی پلائے، اللہ اسے جنت کی شراب پلائے گا۔
